work description:
work to be done under this contract comprises of construction of the supply and install of two (2) uv filtration units including all construction services in relation to the upgrade to the sand filter system with two uv reactors at the west vancouver laboratories, located at 4160 marine drive, west vancouver, bc v7v 1n6.


work to be done under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following:
1.) contractor to modify existing west vancouver laboratories sand filtration process to include uv disinfection reactors in tandem capable of providing a 60mj dosage at a maximum flow rate of 8, 000 litres per minute (lpm);
2.) contractor to install two uv disinfection reactors that must meet the required specifications.


work will be performed in accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.


site visit:
contractors are recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A site visit is scheduled on wednesday, december 19th, 2018 at 10:00am local time, at the west vancouver laboratories, located at 4160 marine drive, west vancouver, bc. All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets wcb standards, for all site visits including a tender site visit. A maximum of two (2) representatives per bidder will be permitted to examine the sites. Contractors attending the site visit may be required to show one (1) piece of government issued id, such as a driver?s license.


delivery date:
the work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the contracting authority and is to be completed by march 31st 2019.
