The University Hospital Zurich (USZ) is planning an overall renovation of the core area. This reorganization takes place during ongoing hospital operation and is implemented in various stages. The project campus in the middle 1 | 2 (CM1 | 2) is the first stage of the profound structural renovation of the USZ. The project includes the dismantling of several buildings, the creation of a 44 meter high new building in the middle of 1 | 2 and the renovation / conversion of the old anatomy.
