REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) MARKET SURVEY ANNOUNCEMENT
Full-Scale Food Services for the United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA)
Introduction/Purpose
The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) at Kings Point, New York, has a requirement for full-scale food services. Performance objectives include quality, timeliness, customer satisfaction, sanitation, staffing, and management oversight. USMMA intends for this to be a Fixed Price, performance-based contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, for a total potential period of performance of five years.
The purpose of this announcement is to identify interested and capable businesses, increase industry awareness, and gain feedback to assist with acquisition planning. Firms possessing the capabilities to perform the tasks described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) are encouraged to respond.
This is not a solicitation announcement. This notice is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not award any contract based on the information received from this notice. This announcement does not guarantee that a solicitation or procurement of any kind will be issued, and it should not be construed as a commitment by the Government to enter into a contract.
