Description : The project involves upgrades to four sanitary sewer pump stations in the District of Central Saanich. The scope of work includes: Butler Pump Station Upgrade: · Electrical upgrades. · Forcemain tie-in manhole (OPTIONAL). Keating Pump Station Upgrade: · Supply and installation of replacement submersible pumps; and · Electrical upgrades. · Forcemain tie-in manhole (OPTIONAL). Mt. Newton Pump Station Upgrade: · Installation of new valve chamber; · Installation of new section of 150 mm dia. forcemain and bypass assembly; · Removal of existing isolation and check valves, as well as discharge piping and support frame from within the lift station; · Installation of salvaged submersible pumps and replacement internal lift station discharge piping; · Replacement of lift station access hatch; and · Electrical upgrades. Delamere Pump Station Upgrade: · Electrical upgrades including replacement of kiosk; · Partial demolition of existing concrete kiosk base; and · Construction of reinforced concrete base for new kiosk.
