Sewage & Waste Water Systems; Construction, Upgrade & Repair



Summary Details:

The project involves upgrades to four sanitary sewer pump stations in the District

of Central Saanich. The scope of work includes:

Butler Pump Station Upgrade:

- Electrical upgrades.

- Forcemain tie-in manhole (OPTIONAL).

Keating Pump Station Upgrade:

- Supply and installation of replacement submersible pumps; and

- Electrical upgrades.

- Forcemain tie-in manhole (OPTIONAL).

Mt. Newton Pump Station Upgrade:

- Installation of new valve chamber;

- Installation of new section of 150 mm dia. forcemain and bypass assembly;

- Removal of existing isolation and check valves, as well as discharge piping

and support frame from within the lift station;

- Installation of salvaged submersible pumps and replacement internal lift

station discharge piping;

- Replacement of lift station access hatch; and

- Electrical upgrades.

Delamere Pump Station Upgrade:

- Electrical upgrades including replacement of kiosk;

- Partial demolition of existing concrete kiosk base; and

- Construction of reinforced concrete base for new kiosk.
