The dynamometer system in the laboratory of Oulun Ammattikorkeakoulu Oy will be updated by adding other compatible gearboxes with additional equipment and the necessary changes to the existing chassis dynamometer control automation, sensing and electrical system. Included in the purchase are comprehensive The minimum requirements can be obtained on request from kirjaamo@oamk.fi or hankinnat@oulu.fi. The reasons for direct procurement continue on the eForms side. The procurement unit has acquired a 4w chassis dynamometer (CALL FOR TENDERS OAMK 25/2020: Testing Environment of hybrid and electric powertrain systems for heavy duty vehicles, Dynamometers, introduced 12/2022). The procurement has been tendered as a procurement exceeding the EU threshold through an open procedure. Horiba Europe GmbH, filial Sweden, was selected as the supplier as a result of the bidding process for the original purchase. Additional purchases related to the system update is done by the original supplier. The procurement is carried out with the ERDF funding of the North Ostrobothnia Association from the project ROCK! Sustainable and energy efficient eDrive Trains research capabilities. ROCK! in the project, the tire-specific continuous of the chassis dynamometer acquired in the Mobilab project is increased torque: 25 kNm - 85 kNm. The change is implemented by acquiring slower gears (4 pcs) for each dynamometer, while maintaining the possibility to also use existing gears that enable faster rotation speed (road speeds: trucks, buses and cars).
