Tender are invited for The project will include rehabilitation of 4, 005 LF of Runway 8-26 pavement and rehabilitation of the medium intensity runway edge lightadd system. Rehabilitate 4, 005 LF of Runway 8-26 pavement. Remove existing approx 10' wide paved runway shoulders. Rehabilitate medium intensity runway edge light and runway threshold light systems Heliport Site Improvements Project : Site improvements to the Heliport will include the extension of the existing service road (approx 340 LF) and terminating at the existing edge of the concrete helipad, a new connector from the existing helipad to Taxiway Delta, an extension of the existing concrete parking, and a passenger pick-up area including a walkway to the helipad. The roadway and the connector to Taxiway Delta will be designed as a flexible asphalt pavement and the parking and passenger pick-up areas will be designed as a rigid concrete pavement. Work includes but is not limited to construction of the following items : 739 SY of proposed asphalt road extension;497 SY of concrete parking lot expansion; 146 SY of concrete passenger pick-up area; 192 SY of asphalt taxiway connector. All elements to be completed.
Notes : A non-mandatory pre-bid conference to discuss the details and requirements of the contract will be held on Monday April 30, 2018, at 10 : 00 AM. The pre-bid conference will be held at the Ormond Beach City Hall Training Room located in the breezeway of City Hall at 22 S. Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
