Tender Details

Tender are invited for Construction of an 18" steel pipeline to replace the current temporary PVC surge arrest pipeline at the Torrance Refinery Water Recycling Plant. Replacement PVC pipe was installed to replace the original HDPE pipeline, installed in 2001, due to concerns extreme surge pressures of 150 psi exceeding the 80 psi rated capacity of the 18" HDPE pipe. The PVC installation experienced failure at glue joints and a temporary PVC pipeline was coupled in place.
