Tender are invited for Demolition of some interior non load bearing walls inside the space and removal of all electrical, mechanical and plumbing lines which date back to construction over 50 years ago. A new HVAC system for the entire wing shall sit above the Units Control Station. Spiral duct shall occupy the upper portion of the high ceilings. Vertical coordination between the HVAC, cable management system, electrical bus and other ancillary supply lines shall be crucial to a successful project, New doorways and windows shall be installed on the west side of the wing as well as new exteriorlighting under the existing canopy system. The underside of the canopy shall also be refinished to match adjacent areas.
Notes : A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11 : 00 A.M. C.T. at Lamar University / Facilities Management 4410 Jimmy Simmons Blvd. Beaumont, Texas 77705. Deadline for questions is no later than Thursday, April 7, 2017 at 2 : 00 p.m. local time. HUB goal is 21.1%. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement.
