United states department of agriculture, agriculture research service intends to award the following as a sole source procurement award to the following vendor: creative biogene, inc. Located at the following address - 4501 ramsay road, shirley, new york, 11967-4715

creative biogene, inc. Is the only known vendor who can provide the following usda statement of work for metabolomics service - the platform creative biogene, inc. Is using includes a unique data pipeline for feature extraction and preprocessing that enable for rare or very low abundance metabolites to be identified, especially for those of gut microbe origin and derived from xenobiotics metabolism.

Project objective. The objective of this service is to identify and quantify hundreds of metabolites found in either serum or gut contents - feces - of pigs and other experimental animals.

Scope of work. The project involves sample preparation for serum or feces or gut contents from - 20 groups of animals with 5 to 10 samples per group. These samples will be sent to the contractor to perform untargeted or global metabolite identification and quantification.

The government responsibilities shall include providing the following:

1) usda will be responsible for shipping these samples in sufficient dry ice using an overnight express service in 3 batches to the contractor;

2) usda will cover the cost for shipping and returning the samples;

detailed technical requirements (contractor requirements).

The contractor shall:

1) identify, quantify, and analyze 150 serum or fecal samples of pigs and other animals.

2) prepare a final analysis report with



a: a detailed list of reagents used (purity and maker);

b: detailed procedures used for sample preparation;

c: model and makers of all instruments used for lc-ms analysis;

d: detailed ms parameter settings; and

e: data acquisition, feature extraction and pre-processing procedures and parameters
