This project involves replacing aging unit heaters and installing seismic restraints to ensure compliance and safety. These units are located inside the building. The project will also include a review of heat recovery systems and humidity control performance to identify potential improvements. The warehouse currently contains two gas-fired unit heaters; an interlock system will be implemented between these heaters and the overhead doors to optimize operation. Energy efficiency will be enhanced by integrating these interlocks and leveraging newer, more efficient heating technologies. Connect to building control system (implementation of schedules/night setback as per the 2025 Energy Study ECM-4.3). Consultant to confirm if legionella system/halocarbon containing system will be impacted prior to moving forward with design.Bidders are to refer to APPENDIX D: Requirements Document for full detailed scope.
