The aim of the LPEB New project is to develop an IT tool that will make it possible to replace the following software: 1. CertiBru-RES; 2. CertiBru-TER; 3. LPEB Travaux: for projects that have not started in LPEB Travaux, and for which the regulatory period is available in LPEB New. The projects started in LPEB Travaux can be completed there (or migrated into LPEB New, at the option of the EPB expert/architect, provided that the date of submission of the permit expires after January 1, 2023). This new tool therefore makes it possible, among other things, to: 1. calculate the indicators of the EPB certificate in accordance with the Decree on EPB indicators and requirements, using the so-called 'unique/only' calculation method; 2. to assess compliance with the EPB requirements of the Indicators and EPB Requirements Decree, in accordance with Articles 2.6.1 and 2.6.1/1 of the ordinance of 2 May 2013 containing the Brussels Code of Air, Climate and Energy Management, hereinafter referred to as the BWLKE; 3. make recommendations on the cost-effective improvement of the energy performance and reduction of operational greenhouse gas emissions of the EPB units (i.e. calculate the cost-optimal renovation scenario) and of the quality of the indoor climate (ventilation and overheating); 4. calculate the global warming potential (GWP), by communicating with the calculation module of the tool TOTEM (Tool to Optimis...
