Description : Acquisition of an HPC parallel storage file system including hardware and all the necessary software. The storage cluster will be connected natively to a new HPC cluster and a pair of legacy clusters via two Ethernet/Infiniband gateways.
The proposed solution must support or include:
— a net storage capacity of non-compressible 1PB of source data with an option to expand the system to 6 PB,
— 2 billion files per system file,
— snapshot management by filesystem
— initial minimum R/W performance of 10^5 IOPS/W and 10^4 IOPS/R for files smaller than 64 KB and 10^3 IOPS R/W for files of 1 MB,
— initial bandwidth of 10 GB/s R/W,
— server side and client side SSD cache,
— infiniband HDR and Ethernet 100 Gb,
— delivery, installation and configuration
— NBD support 4 years
— delivery until 18 December 2020.
