The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking offers from qualified firms to provide uniform alteration services, as described in the ANNEX A - SPECIFICATIONS, on an as and when requested basis, in accordance with the specifications, Terms and Conditions herein. During the timeframe of this Standing Offer, the primary users of this standing offer will be Transit Services, Ottawa Police Service and the Emergency Protective Services Department, which includes Ottawa Fire Services, the Ottawa Paramedic Service, and By-Law and Regulatory Services. Other City departments may also issue call-ups under the terms and conditions of this Standing Offer. This standing offer will establish a Vendor of Record list for uniform alteration services across the National Capital Region, including Ottawa, Ontario and Gatineau, Quebec.The City of Ottawa issues uniforms to approximately 6, 300 staff in different departments, not including Police. This Standing Offer is to establish a list of convenient outlets where staff can go and get alterations and repairs done on uniform garments as needed. The City wishes to list a number of outlets throughout the City that would make it convenient for staff to drop off and pick up their garments. This will also include outlets in Gatineau.
