Produce a concise report with a clear ExecutiveSummary on the extent of the gender gap in infrastructure focused PE and VCfunds and provide recommendations on how to address the gap, particularly inthe context of a growing infrastructure equity portfolio for the IFC. Theprimary objective of this report is to examine gender gaps in infrastructurePE/VC funds and provide guidance on how to reduce them.Thereport will seek to advance industry evidence across four areas, with a focuson PE/VC funds in the infrastructure sector: 1. What is the state of gender diversity in the PE/VCindustry in infrastructure?o Gender diversity at the fund level (GPs), both workforce and management o Gender diversity within fund portfolio, both workforce and management o Diversity and representation of otherminority groups such as refugees, persons with disabilities, LGBTQI (contingenton availability of data) at fund levelo Gender-responsive policies and practices(childcare, family friendly policies, anti-GBV policies etc.) at the fund level2. How do INR funds compare with funds in othersectors or those that are sector-agnostic?o Comparative analysis of team structures, including size, experience, qualifications, and partner-level turnover, with a focus oncharacteristics unique to INR funds.o Comparative analysis of investmentdecision making processes, investment committee structures and motivations, project finance considerations and performance metrics unique to INR funds 3. Does gender balance, andgender-responsive policies and practices at the fund level correlate withgreater gender balance at the portfolio level?o Gender diversity among management and investmentstaff at funds o Presence of gender-responsive policiesand practices (childcare, family-friendly policies etc.) at fundso Gender diversity at senior levelmanagement and workforce of portfolio companies 4.
