UNDERGROUNDING - MODERNIZATION OF IRRIGATION NETWORK T.O.E.B. SELLANON N. KARDITSAS As part of the proposed projects, it is planned to replace the surface irrigation networks, the water intakes, the E/M equipment of the wells including the pumps, as well as replacement of the houses to accommodate the new equipment of 73 wells. In total, it is proposed to construct approximately 8, 500m of nominal diameter PE DN140 networks and approximately 44, 000m of nominal diameter PE networks DN160. New pumping assemblies (motor and pump) will be installed in all the wells, to ensure the maximum degree of efficiency. Also, a speed regulator is installed in each well to protect the pumping assembly. The young man equipment aims to reduce electricity consumption and consequently reduce the carbon footprint. In addition, each well will be equipped with telemetry, remote control and electronic final billing system consumers in order to achieve full control of the irrigation system of TOEB Sellanos. Finally, a control center will be installed in a building of the TOEB Sellanos where there will be full supervision of the entire irrigation network as well as the pumped quantities of water by the members of TOEB.
