Post Level: National/International ConsultancyType of Consultancy: Individual ConsultancyExpected start date: 1 September 2018Period of assignment/services: One (1) Year, with possibility of renewalBackground:The main role of the UN Stress Counselor will be to build a sustainable stress management system in the UN Offices operating in the country and to improve critical incident stress management preparedness of the UN Security system in case of emergencies. Scope of Work:Under the supervision of the Security Advisor, the incumbent is responsible for designing a sustainable stress management system in the UN Offices operating in Jamaica. The UN Stress Counselor will be specifically responsible for the following tasks: • Provide on-site specialized assistance in case of critical incidents• Identify, address and follow up on critical incident stress cases among UN staff in the country.• Participate in at least two CISMU (regional and global) annual meetings in other countries• Implement a wide range of stress management activities, including the UNDSS CISMU Standard Operational Procedure on critical incident stress.Please review the Terms of Reference for the detailed SOW.
