Fingrid Oyj has decided to implement the new Ulvo substation as part of the main grid. With this acquisition, the the contractor of the site's construction works. The site is located in the area of Soini municipality. The estimated contract period is April 2026 - January 2027. In the contract the preliminary entities to be implemented are; - earthworks with topsoil removal - removal of stumps and branches (wood removed) - construction of access and service roads - construction of a substation fence and gate (Fingrid's type fence and gate and openable parts of the fence) - Construction of Fingrid's type control room for LVIAS work (prefabricated building) - well and mud tank - lightning protection of the control room building - electric car charging points and car heating poles - area lighting - substation area earthing works The details of the procured contract will be defined in more detail during the negotiation procedure. Only bidders are selected for the negotiation procedure who are able to complete the contracted work in its entirety. The preliminary schedule is next.
