The department of veterans affairs is looking for sources to provide a lavision biotec utramicroscope ii, to include a four year extended warranty and installation and training. Please see table 1 below for additional information.
Any vendor interested in this requirement shall be an original equipment manufacturer (oem) authorized dealer or distributor for the proposed equipment/system such that oem warranty and services are provided and maintained by the oem or that the oem gives authorization to the vendor to fulfill all warranty, service, and/or preventative maintenance obligations for the equipment on their behalf. All software licensing, warrant, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the oem terms and conditions. Vendors will be required to provide proof that they are authorized to fulfill warranty, service, and/or preventive maintenance obligations for the oem.
This sources sought notice is for market research purposes only. A determination on the contract type, mechanism for procuring the services, and possible set-aside will not be made by the government until after the market research has been completed.
