The subject of the public contract is the supply of a teaching simulator for practicing surgical operations using a robot. The simulator will be used for practicing mini-invasive surgical techniques. The simulator must have realistic controls for hands and feet, the simulation of a medical procedure can be replaced by virtual reality. The simulator must enable the training of basic surgical techniques (cutting, suturing, stapling, etc.) as well as special advanced procedures such as lung lobectomy, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, cholecystectomy, vaginal surgery, inguinal hernia, etc. Visual processing and control must resemble the real device. The teaching simulator is intended for teaching at the Surgical Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the UK and the Motol General Hospital.
