THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) requests a reliable contractor to design, manufacture, deliver and install six (6) UH-60M instrument panel modifications to replace the currently installed global positioning systems (GPS)-500s with GTN-625Xis in support of the FBI-s MISSION.
This is a Sources Sought notice/Request for Information (RFI). This is not a formal solicitation. Any formal solicitation will be announced separately at a later time. Information provided to the Government because of this posting is strictly voluntary and given with no expectation of compensation and clearly provided at no cost to the Government. Contact with Government personnel, other than the Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, by potential offerors or their employees regarding this requirement is strictly prohibited.
The summary is as follows:
The Contractor shall design, manufacture, deliver and install six (6) instrument panel adapter plates to allow for the installation of a GTN-625Xi and ESIS into each insert. To alleviate the need to modify an entire instrument panel, these instrument panel adapter plates shall be an exact replacement, in form, fit and function, for the THU-s current instrument panel adapter plates, which were specifically designed for the GPS-500 and the ESIS.
