This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for an Electrical Contractor for the E592-00 UBC Hospital Koerner OR UPS Installation project. Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is seeking an Electrical Contractor for the supply and installation of a 50 kW UPS system and required electrical integration at UBC Hospital, Koerner Pavilion, in accordance with the tender documents. Currently, the transition from utility to generator power causes delays that force vital surgical equipment to reboot. This installation will bridge that gap, ensuring continuous, reliable power to critical clinical equipment during outages and generator start-up sequences.
The ready-for-takeover date is anticipated to be August 31st, 2026 including equipment procurement and construction installation. Contractor should provide and propose detailed construction schedule. Please note this is an estimate only and subject to change.
