U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source To HEAT TRANSFER SOLUTIONS INC 3350 Yale STHouston, Texas77018-7741, United States ¿ The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333415: ¿Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment and Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturing¿, Size Standard: 1, 250. The object of this sole source award to HEAT TRANSFER SOLUTIONS INC for the replacement of the existing Seresco HVAC system with a new Daikin packaged unit, inclusive of manufacturer warranty. The scope of work requires modifications to the original installation configuration within the building, as well as custom ductwork to accommodate the new system. Due to the complexity of the equipment, only technicians with highly specialized training are qualified to perform the installation. The vendor has proposed two potential approaches, both approaches would incorporate the reuse of select existing components.This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.
