Tenders are invited for Turnkey delivery of a 250 kWp SVP Micro grid in Godo - Olo, Suriname.
This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared on www.devbusiness.com issue No. IDB 646-5/14 of May 6, 2014.
The Republic of Suriname has received financing from the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) through the Inter American Development Bank (IDB), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments under the project Development of Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Electrification of Suriname, for Turnkey delivery of a 250 kWp SVP Micro grid in Godo - Olo, Suriname.
The Ministry of Natural Resources (Natuurlijke Hulpbronnen) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Turnkey delivery of a 250 kWp SVP Micro grid in Godo - Olo, Suriname. This procurement process requires bidders to have experience in the development of solar photovoltaic power plants gained over the last 5 years where such works equate to a sum of not less than USD 1, 000 000 The construction period is 12 months and works are expected to commence in March 2020.
Bidding will be conducted through international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the Inter-American Development Bank's Policies for Procurement of Works and Goods financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (GN-2349-9), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents from the Ministry of Natural Resources at the address stated at the end of the document, during office hours (8:00 am to 2:00 pm) A complete set of bidding documents in English may be requested by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of USD 500.
The method of payment will be cashier's cheque or bank transfer, at the central bank of Suriname, account number CBvS USD GEF 0313100/001-0074-840. The documents will be sent by electronic mail or may be picked up at the address indicated below.
All bids must be delivered to the address below by 10.30 am Local Time on 13 of January 2020. They will be opened at 10:45 am Local time on 31 of January 2020 in the presence of bidders' representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below.
Late bids will be rejected A bid security of Fifty Thousand United States Dollars (USD 50, 000). must be submitted and delivered to the address below at the same time of the bid submission.
