In 2022, Roskilde Municipality initiated an investigation into the possibilities of establishing a new housing offer for citizens with developmental disabilities as an alternative to the current out-of-date Mariehusene. These studies led to the city council deciding in May 2023 that build a new Mariehusene in Trekroner, which is the subject of this tender. The tendered contract includes the construction of a residence (area of ​​approx. 3, 450 m2), containing 30 nursing homes and an associated service area (840 m2). Each home has an area of ​​40 m2, which includes 20 m2 of shared living space and 5 m2 of common room, i.e. that a total of 1, 950 m2 is set aside for living space (incl. shared housing and space). Since the result of the Work (the residence) is to be used by particularly vulnerable citizens, the Client demands that everyone defects (both significant and non-significant) have been remedied before delivery can take place. The client has also made it clear to the contractor that - for the sake of the aforementioned citizens - it is very important that the agreed timetable is adhered to, so that citizens can move in as planned. Public housing is built in accordance with the Public Housing Act.
