The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) is currently conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing one (1) Woods TBW12.40 Turf Batwing Finish Mower (or a technically equivalent 'brand name or equal' mower deck). The Government is seeking capability statements from all interested vendors, including Small Businesses (SB), 8(a), HUBZone, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB), Woman-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The required equipment shall be delivered to Eglin AFB, Duke Field.
All interested vendors shall submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide and deliver the required equipment to the Primary Point of Contact (POC) listed below. Proposals and quotes are not being requested or accepted at this time. As stipulated in RFO 15.101(c), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Quote) exists at this time; therefore, the Government will not honor requests for a solicitation package. The decision to proceed with a formal solicitation remains solely within the Government-s discretion.
The NAICS Code assigned to this acquisition is 333112, Lawn and Garden Tractor and Home Lawn and Garden Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1500 employees. Respondents should indicate their size in relation to this size standard and indicate socio-economic status (i.e. SB, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, or SDVOSB). Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/Foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees for this effort.
