This requirement is for the annual calibration and maintenance of five testing machines and two extensometers used with two of the testing machines located in the Bureau of Reclamation Laboratories, Denver Federal Center, Building 56, Lakewood, CO. The acquisition will be sole sourced to Instron, a division of the Illinois Tool Works, INC, 825 University Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062 due to this being a calibration of an existing proprietary machine designed, developed, and manufactured by Instron. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirements identified above may submit a written response to Keith L. Singleton at [email protected] no later than 10 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency.
