Tender Details

The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking offers from qualified firms to provide dry cleaning and laundering services, as described in the ANNEX A - SPECIFICATIONS, on an as and when requested basis, in accordance with the specifications, Terms and Conditions herein.The City currently employs a program whereby OC Transpo employees (consisting of, but not limited to: Bus Operators, Rail Operators, Transit Supervisors, Special Constables, Communication Officers, Dispatchers, and Messengers) are issued vouchers that can be exchanged for dry-cleaning and/or laundering services, in accordance with respective employee benefits programs under their applicable Collective Agreements. The current face value of each voucher is $1.00, excluding taxes.Under this program, eligible OC Transpo employees are entitled an annual allowance for dry cleaning and/or laundering services with booklets of vouchers distributed to employees. In previous periods up to 95, 560 of the 108, 600 vouchers issued to all OC Transpo employees were redeemed. The City anticipates similar volumes of services will be required in future periods.
