DESCRIPTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation. This procurement is being conducted as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Only firms verified as SDVOSBs in the Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at the time of quote submission and at the time of award are eligible for award. The associated NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $19.0 million. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, is seeking qualified contractors to provide Triennial Electrical Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Services for the facility s Electrical Power Distribution System, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Services include, but are not limited to: Triennial inspection and testing of electrical distribution equipment Compliance with applicable NFPA, NETA, OSHA, and VA requirements System testing, reporting, and documentation Coordination with VA Engineering staff and the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) Participation in site visits, if applicable All work shall be performed in strict accordance with Attachment 1 Statement of Work.
