Welcome to submit tenders in procurement for Avesta Vatten och Avfall AB, which intends to procure the treatment of combustible waste for an agreement that will come into force in the spring of 2026. The procurement is divided in relation to three different types of fractions, residual waste, sorted combustible fraction from the recycling center (gross waste) and combustible waste from incoming cleaning grates at the Krybo treatment plant (operational waste). The amount of municipal waste is delivered relatively evenly over the year with a certain increase during the summer semester depending on the holiday homes. Regarding bulk waste, the collected quantity is greatest during the period April to October. Avesta Vatten works actively to increase sorting and reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill and incineration. The quantity waste left for incineration may decrease during the contract period.
