BACKGROUND The Department of the Treasury (hereafter Treasury) depends on its ability to securely collect, process, and share information in support of its organizational missions. Treasury-s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has stood up TCloud, a hybrid cloud infrastructure and architecture, in support of this objective which was built upon Treasury-s existing on-premises private infrastructure with public and community cloud infrastructures. Utilizing an as-a-service model is a key component of Treasury-s cloud strategy that enables flexible IT consumption and supports a predictable budgetary environment as capital expenses are phased out in favor of operating expenses.

Designed to provide flexible, scalable, and efficient means of utilizing and consuming data in the cloud, TCloud supports experimentation and innovation for mission needs. Key to achieving this objective is the ability to rapidly implement, test and deploy effective solutions for the Department.

OBJECTIVEThe objective of this Request for Information is to ensure that Treasury can efficiently identify and obtain products and professional services required to support the Treasury Cloud (TCloud) in facilitating the adoption and timely delivery of cloud solutions. The NAICS code for this procurement is 518210, Data Processes, Hosting, and Related Services. Treasury is searching for small businesses that are certified 8(a)/SDB, HUBZone and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses only.
