Transport service for letters and packages The object of the procurement is the transportation service for letters and packages within the municipality of Tuusula from September 1, 2026. The transports are carried out as a courier service between the various offices of the municipality according to the attached driving routes. The routes are run weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays. Vacations and public holidays may leave some individual driving days undriveable. The transports are carried out as a courier service between the various offices of the municipality. Letters and packages are picked up in the morning From TuusInfo, which is located on the 2nd floor of the business center Särmä at Autoasemankatu 4. Letters and packages arriving from the offices are delivered in the afternoons to the same space for further sorting and further distribution. TuusInfo's staff takes care of those who leave sorting letters and packages before transport. TuusInfo sorts outgoing internal letters and packages in its own facilities. The service provider picks up these shipments in the morning and delivers them to predefined destinations according to the route. At the same time, the service provider picks up mail and packages from each destination on the route and transports them to TuusInfo's facilities for further processing during the same day. As an additional procurement option, hourly rates for casuals are requested separately for similar transport services that can be ordered, which take place outside of regular routes.
