Tender Details

The Dunedin City Council (DCC) transport network includes 1071km of sealed and 693km of unsealed roads, which extend from North of Waikouaiti to the Taieri River in the South and inland to Hyde.

The maintenance of the respective sealed and unsealed networks requires different activities, so the transportation network maintenance contracts will be split into two based on general maintenance activities as follows:

Contract #1 - DCC Sealed Network

The DCC Sealed Network contract will form the management, maintenance and renewal of sealed network assets within the DCC transportation, and DCC parks and recreation networks.

Contract #2 - DCC Unsealed Network

The DCC Unsealed Network contract will form the Management, maintenance and renewal of the unsealed assets within the DCC transportation, and DCC parks and recreation networks. Work will include:

Subject to approval from funding organisations, the intention is to let these contracts for a term between 6 and 10 years.
