Transport, container handling, reception and processing of complex iron and metals Avfall Sør Husholding AS invites a competition for a contract for transport, container handling, reception and processing of complex iron and metal from the company's recycling stations. The procurement includes delivery and deployment of containers, collection and transport of collected material, reception, sorting and treatment of the fraction at an approved reception and treatment facility, as well as associated reporting and documentation. The supplier must ensure that the waste is handled in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and necessary permits throughout the value chain. Complex iron and metals are collected at Avfall Sør's recycling stations at Mjåvann, Sørlandsparken and Stoleheia. The contract mainly covers complex iron and metal from households. Cables are included in EE waste, and are not included in this procurement. Historical quantities indicate an annual delivery of approximately 2, 600-2, 700 tonnes. Quantities given are estimates only based on previous years' experience and is not binding on the client. Actual quantities may vary as a result of, among other things, seasonal variations, market conditions and the residents' delivery pattern. The client wants a supplier who can offer a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible handling of the materials, with a high degree of material recycling and good traceability throughout the entire processing chain.
