The transport companies of the city of Zurich (VBZ) operate a customer service organization called "Customer Value Center". The department is located locally at six locations in the city of Zurich.
There are mainly three disciplines in the Customer Value Center:
* Trip
* Energy
* Lost & Found
The Almost 100 employees of the Customer Value Center accept around 1000 customer inquiries per day via various communication channels. These are currently switches, telephone, email, live chat and social media.
The incoming inquiries range from simple information such as timetable information to highly complex complaints, which are processed by a dedicated team. Customers are also supported in dealing with the "E-channels" (ZVV app, web shop, etc.). The sale of tickets and subscriptions takes place at the counter. In the lost property office, mainly Find objects received and conveyed - contact with the customers is here via the phone and switch.
In order to be able to keep the quality of advice of employees in the CVC at a high level, the employees go through an extensive training program (oral and written Communication, dealing with customer reactions, resilience, etc.).
