ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The World Bank in Armenia is seeking the services of a firm to carry out training of preschool staff aimed at enhancing their skills and capacities, awareness and level of preparedness for adversities and crises for them to be able to extend moral support to children and parents. More specifically, the training will focus on the practical steps for reopening and functioning of preschool institutions under COVID-19 conditions; specific requirements for working with preschool children under COVID-19 conditions; and specific requirements for working with the parents of preschool children under COVID-19 conditions. The objective of the activity is to improve the preparedness, response and recovery capacity of education while enhancing the access to safe and effective education and ensuring the physical and mental health and safety of the children enrolled in preschool institutions and their staff.
The amount of the activity is USD 30, 000. In absence of full-time face-to-face delivery due to external conditions, the training will be carried out through distance learning and the award amount will reflect the change.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.

Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding.
Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
