Repetitive gestures, restrictive postures and patient handling expose agents to significant risks of back pain, lower back pain, tendinitis or sciatica on a daily basis, which can lead to incapacity, work stoppage, or even forced retraining. DCE n° 26FOR006 Patient handling gestures and postures 3 This training therefore responds to a major issue of occupational health and quality of care. By strengthening the skills of agents on the principles of ergonomics and safe handling, it allows: - to preserve the health and professional longevity of staff, - to reduce work accidents and sick leave linked to MSDs, - to improve the quality and safety of care by ensuring more comfortable handling for patients, - to promote prevention as a team culture, by promoting collective work and communication around good practices.
