Parking counts (car) Bicycle parking counts Intensity and speed measurements Traffic counts The Assignment concerns the execution of Traffic Counts and related traffic preparation and result processing. At a parking count is asked to provide insight into the car parking capacity per location and the current parking occupancy during the measured period. This leads to parking pressure. Parking pressure is the number of parked vehicles compared to the available parking space in an area. A more detailed elaboration can be found in Appendix 11 - Implementation of Parking Counting. During a Bicycle Parking Count, you are asked to provide insight into the bicycle parking capacity and the bicycle parking occupancy. Bicycle parking counts are requested per sub-neighborhood. A more detailed elaboration can be found in Appendix 12 - Implementation of Bicycle Parking Count. An intensity measurement asks for the traffic intensity and the traffic intensity to determine traffic composition and/or movements at a specific (intersection) point during an investigation period requested by the Contracting Authority. In addition to an intensity measurement, you may also be asked to measure the speed of traffic.
