The washing must be performed for deep cleaning of sports field coatings (e.g. Novotan or similar) with the intended equipment. A presentation of the equipment and a work plan must be attached to the offer. A maximum of €10, 000 has been reserved for the work according to the request for offer. The washing concerns two (2) permanently coated running tracks, one of which is located at the Kirkonmäki sports field (Ventustenstie 47, 67700 Kokkola) and another at the Kälviä sports field approx. 20 km from Kokkola (Ridantie 2, 68300 Kälviä). The Kälviä track was washed in 2023 and the Kirkonmäki track was washed last spring in 2025. More detailed information about the tracks in the section of this request for tenders: Procurement object. Before the washing work, the tracks are emptied by the field staff of mattresses, racks and skirting boards or other things that might be in the way of the work. It is possible to get the water and electricity needed for the washing work from the fields, and there is also rainwater or sewer wells for disposal. The deep cleaning of the Kirkonmäki sports field must be completed by June 3, 2026, and the deep cleaning of the Kälviä sports field by June 14, 2026 at the latest.
