A01 Hospital beds A02 Patient tables The object of procurement is the equipment and products mentioned in the request for tender and its appendices, the related maintenance and any accessories required for use as specified in the appendices. Possible maintenance program related maintenance is ordered as needed. The contract made on the basis of this acquisition can also be used in possible future new sites. Purchases made for new locations require that the products according to the contract meet the respective requirements functional and technical requirements of the object. The procurement does not constitute an obligation for the procurement unit to make procurements for all future new sites. The hospital bed belonging to the product family A01 is a medical device (Device 1). Belonging to the product family A02 the patient table is classified as furniture (Product 1) and not as a medical device, because it is used to place the patient's belongings, food or personal items and has no active treatment, diagnostic or rehabilitation function function. Thus, based on its purpose of use, it is not a product within the scope of the MDR and therefore does not require a CE marking for medical devices or a declaration of conformity according to the MDR. Annually estimated the purchase quantities are the following in total by the aforementioned product families: A01 100 pcs and A02 40 pieces per year.
