Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY.
The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-Europe (MRCO-EUR) is planning to issue a solicitation for the lease of a Total Laboratory Automation System and supplies to run reportable patient tests for the Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services (DPALS) at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (LRMC) and provide clinical chemistry testing capabilities at the SHAPE (Mons, Belgium) and Grafenwoehr (Bavaria, Germany) Army Health Clinics. The resultant contract type will be an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract with Firm-Fixed Prices (FFP) established in the ID/IQ contract. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process will be used. The solicitation will be issued for full and open competition. All vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time an offer is submitted, and lack of registration shall make a proposal ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes.
