Total contract regarding renovation of the roof and facade at CBS 1. Background and damage picture The CBS building on Solbjerg Plads has been affected by leaks in facades and roofs since its construction around the year 2000. Water intrusion has been detected in parts of the buildings A, B and C to the south as well as in buildings D and F. At present, no water intrusion has been registered in other parts of the building complex. In the period 2022-2024, the Institute of Technology has carried out physical inspections and analyzes of roofs and facades different places in the buildings. The investigations have shown construction technical errors which can be attributed to the construction of the buildings. At the same time, significant degradation of organic materials and joints in the facades has been observed. The conditions do not constitute a current one constructive risk, but implies an increased future risk of further water penetration in the parts of the building that are not renovated.2. Scope of the tender and form of contract The task is tendered as a turnkey contract, where the turnkey contractor has overall responsibility for design and execution within the framework and functional requirements set out in the tender material. This tender includes the design and improvement of selected parts of facades and roofs of the CBS building at Solbjerg Plads. The task relates to a renovation task which must be carried out while the buildings are in operation.
