Hongsa Power Company Limited (HPC) was formed by the Lao Government and Private Shareholders in 2009 to develop and operate the Lignite Mine Mouth Power Plant capacity 1, 878 MW, which were already completed in 2016 - will become Laos` highest-capacity power plant, providing a sustainable source of energy for both Laos and Thailand.
