In line with the Tourism Industry Skills Program (TISP), the Department of Tourism is assisting several stakeholders in the conduct of various training programs to address tourism skills gaps, upgrade HRD practices for tourism industry for increased customer satisfaction, enhanced competitiveness, and profitability in the tourism sector.



To enhance the capacity, knowledge and skills of housekeeping staff to perform their job efficiently. This training specifically intends to improve the services of accommodation establishments to be:



• More time-efficient cleaning of guest rooms with increased guest satisfaction

• More efficient in maintaining the guest room

• Improved during-stay complaints resolution

• Higher levels of guest-s satisfaction

• Higher levels of employee satisfaction, reduced staff turn-over
