The veterans administration medical center located at va maine hcs, 1 va center augusta, me 04330-6796 intends to release solicitation va241-15-r-0153 for dental prosthetic items. This solicitation will require the contractor to provide the dental laboratory items authorized under this contract to include, but not limited to: fabrication of porcelain fused to metal crowns and fixed partial dentures, fabrication of full gold crowns and fixed partial dentures, implant supported crowns and fixed partial dentures, abutments, resin-bonded bridges, removable partial denture frameworks, diagnostic wax-ups for crown and bridge (c&b) cases, custom provisional c&b prostheses, all-ceramic c&b prostheses, implant connecting bars (precious metal/titanium), c&b metal/titanium/zirconium substructures, application of veneering porcelain to existing/vamc submitted metal or ceramic c&b copings and fixed partial denture (fpd) substructures.
The general limit of the specified work area will be located at the va maine healthcare system, 1 va center augusta, me 04330-6796. The full solicitation will be posted on fedbizopps www.fbo.gov on or about december 5, 2015.
This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable naics code will be 339116 with an applicable small business size standard of 500 employees.
The performance period is for a 1 year period after award with additional option period(s). This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming rfq solicitation to satisfy the requirements of far 5.201 and 5.203. All interested parties should register via fedbizopps interested vendors list. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor and download amendments from febbizopps which may be issued to this solicitation.
