Bid Security for each tipper and machinery at Rs. 10, 000.00.

Bid documents can be obtained on payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2500, from 01st November 2021 up to
16th November 2021 on official working days from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. from the Chief Engineers Office of the
Road Development Authority at Bandaranayake Mawatha, Ratnapura. Bid documents can be inspected free of
charge during office hours from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.. at the place of issuance.

A Bid Security should be submitted along with the Bid documents and it should be valid for 90 calendar days from
the closing days of acceptance of bids.

Relevant Bid Security to the value mentioned above either can be deposited in cash at the Ratnapura Road
Development Authority or can be submitted through a Bank draft obtained from a commercial Bank registered in
the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in favour of Provincial Director (Sabaragamuwa) of the Ratnapura Road Development
Authority. Bids submitted without a Bid Security will be rejected.

Tippers and Backhoe Loaders supplied should have been registered in the Department of Motor Traffic in the name
of the Supplier. For tippers, first registration should be within 15 years from (he date of opening of the tender amd
for backhoe London that period should be 10 years.

Efficiency and working conditions of the tippers and Backhoe loaders are subject to the approval of the Technical
Committee approved for this purpose. Spedo meters and timing meters should be in good working order. If
detected and proved that the said meters are are tampered an timing meter in operation when the Engineering is
not, running, relevant - bids will rejected.

Perfected sealed, bids should either be forwarded by registered post addressed to the Chairman, is Regional
Procurement Committee, Chief Engineer, Road Development Authority Bandaranayake Mawatha, Ratnapura to be
received at or before 2.00 p.m. on 17th November 2021 or may be deposited in the Tender Box kept at the Chief
Engineers Office, Road Development Authority, Ratnapura.
