The former youth facility owned by the city of Espoo, located next to the Olari winter garden, has been empty for a long time. The residents of the area have wished for the premises to be used by local operators. The premises have been repaired during the year 2025, and the community space began in the premises pilot in December 2025, where the space will function as a community space until 2026. The pilot is divided into two phases; to the start-up phase and the evaluation phase. The start-up phase lasts until the end of March 2026 and the evaluation phase until the end of December 2026. This the procurement concerns the evaluation phase of the pilot. We are looking for an operator to operate the space from 1 April to 31 December 2026. Tilapilot's users are municipal and Espoo organizations. The service is especially targeted at the municipalities and locals of the Olari region for organization actors. During the pilot, users of the service can access the so-called walk-in style, by directly contacting the facility's operator service or by booking the facility through the reservation system (the reservation system is not immediately available at the beginning of the evaluation phase).The operator is responsible for familiarizing local organizations with the space, facilitating workshops, communicating with different actors, space committee meetings and minutes, space reservations, taking care of space keys, running space activities as well as acquisitions concerning the space during the pilot.
