Description : he Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") is undertaking to expand the existing two runway system at Hong Kong International Airport into a three runway system (3RS). This will include among other things the construction of a new third runway concourse (TRC) on the new platform being reclaimed from sea. The TRC is an 8-storey multi-functional building with a total floor area of approximately 300, 000m2 including three levels of basement.This is a very substantial building and infrastructure works contract with a duration of over 4 years including the following works:(a) TRC building completed with glazed façade system, profiled metal roof system, high quality internal finishes and fitting works and substantial E&M and airport systems;(b) 27 fixed link bridges and aircraft loading bridges;(c) Over 50 aircraft parking stands, taxilanes and associated apron and airfield systems;(d) Two taxiways east of TRC;(e) associated infrastructure works; and(f) Government entrusted works including the new Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Government accommodation / facilities within the TRC and on the apron.A location plan and isometric view of the TRC are attached for information.All piled foundations of the TRC, fixed link bridges and the ATCT and the TRC basement structure are to be constructed by others under an advanced works contract (Contract 3405). The conditions for participation, tender programme, prequalification selection criteria, and other pertinent details are detailed in the Prequalification Invitation Document.The Authority invites expressions of interest from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and construct the above works.
