Three Runway System Project Contract 3713 Third Runway Concourse and Infrastructure Site Investigation Works (Contract 3713)
Description : The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") is expanding the Airport into a three-runway system including construction of a new passenger concourse building (Third Runway Concourse) and other infrastructure works on the new platform being reclaimed from sea. Relevant ground data is required for the detailed design of the Third Runway Concourse and new infrastructure works. The works to be carried out under this Contract (the Works) include vertical and inclined boreholes, associated in-situ and laboratory tests and preparation of reports. The work sites will be accessible by sea only and no land access through the existing Airport road network will be allowed. The duration of the Works will be approximately 12 months. The extent of the Works is shown in the attached plan.The procurement method for the Works, conditions for participation and contract award criteria are detailed in the tender documents.The Authority hereby invite tenders from contractors with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and construct the Works. Suitable contractors will need to be able to demonstrate relevant experience and ability in managing and carrying out site investigation works of similar nature. Tenderers will be required to submit a tender bond of HK$500, 000 with the tender.Tenders for this Contract shall be submitted to the Authority not later than 16:30 (Hong Kong time) on Thursday, 15 August 2019.All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.The procurement of the above works is covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organisation.
