The intent of this study is to have a detailed condition assessment of the Chiller and all associated chilled water pumps/mechanical components. The SOW includes comprehensive vibration analysis, among few other assessment requirements. The mechanical engineering consultant who is to perform this assessment will carry the appropriate contractors to perform the appropriate tests and provide us with signed written report at the end. The study would consist of the confirming/verifying efficiency of the chiller, efficiency of the pumps and related mechanical equipment. Evaluate whether installing VFDs on the condenser pumps would be a feasible energy saving measure. The study shall also confirm flow rate across the evaporator which would tell us if tubes failure is approaching, determine the amount of corrosion that has occurred on all associated components. Flow rate and pressure readings across the pumps shall also be taken. The study shall clearly identify any repairs needed to fix any immediate issues as well as to prolong the life of the chiller, pumps and attached components with costs as well as provide full replacement costs and savings. The study shall verify the refrigerant and consider any phase out requirements or conversion opportunities.
